Overview

Aston started Shake in 2016 with the vision to bring amazing shakes crafted with organic ingredients and natural ~flavours~ to the people of Wellington, New Zealand. He felt that the best way to do this was with beautifully designed “freak shakes” and as it turns out, he was right.

Based on findings from our market research for Shake, 57% of its target sees Instagram-ability as a deciding factor when grabbing one of these funky freak shakes. We were able to help create an effective way to capture/photograph the shakes in an “Insta-worthy” way getting the store’s Instagram following from 300 to over 3,000 in a matter of 2 months.

Featuring a new freak shake each month with promotions encouraging customers to post their own photos of the shakes has more than doubled business. Shake has since kept up the monthly shakes, engagement, and promotions and has seen continuous growth based on our strategy.
